Policies of the Halal CB
Mission of the Halal Certification Body (Halal CB)
The establishment of the Halal Certification Body was initiated by the RSE "KazStandard".
Halal OPS is the first national accredited body in the Republic of Kazakhstan for the certification of Halal products.
As a result of the growing demand for an independent, reliable and internationally recognized certification system, Halal CB has confirmed its competence in the International Accreditation Center by the International Accreditation Center EIAC (Emirates International Accreditation Centre) to help stakeholders achieve the goal of producing Halal products and entering the markets of the Persian Gulf countries.
Compliance with Halal requirements requires that the entire chain of product creation, from the cultivation and slaughter of animals, from the purchase of raw materials, their delivery, storage, preparation, production, packaging and labeling, to transportation and sale, each step must ensure that the product meets Halal standards.
Objectives
Halal CB strives for the highest standards in Halal certification of products, to improve certification schemes and procedures in accordance with international requirements.
Halal CB strives to increase awareness and understanding of the Halal concept among manufacturers.
Halal CB strives to continuously improve the competence of the team of highly professional auditors of Halal products.
Impartiality Policy of the Halal Certification Body
The Halal Certification Body of the Kazakhstan Institute of Standardization and Metrology (hereinafter referred to as the Halal Certification Body) is independent from the organizations it certifies, thereby preventing any possibility of administrative, commercial, financial and (or) other pressure being exerted on it in order to influence the certification results. This guarantees objectivity in the activities of the Halal Certification Body.
The management of the Halal Certification Body declares that it fully understands the importance of impartiality in carrying out work on Halal product certification, is aware of all existing threats and promptly takes the necessary actions to eliminate them.
The Halal Certification Body identifies, analyzes and documents possible conflicts of interest arising during the Halal certification, including conflicts arising from its relationships, including with customers of Halal certification procedures.
The Halal Certification Body guarantees impartiality in making decisions on certification, which are based on objective evidence.
Halal CB does not undertake Halal certification if the relationship creates an unacceptable threat to impartiality.
Halal CB does not subcontract Halal certification consulting services to conduct audits.
Halal CB does not represent or permit advertising or other materials that Halal certification will be simpler, easier, faster or less expensive.
Halal CB requires all personnel to promptly disclose potential conflicts of interest and threats to impartiality and ensures that all necessary response actions are taken to eliminate them.
Halal CB management is ultimately responsible for communicating this policy to all personnel involved in certification activities.
Quality Policy of Halal CB
The strategic goal of the Halal product certification body of the Kazakhstan Institute of Standardization and Metrology (hereinafter referred to as Halal CB) is a highly organized, qualified, objective performance of work to confirm the conformity of products with the requirements of Islamic laws, maintaining an international reputation as a reliable Halal certification body.
The activities of Halal CB are aimed at meeting the needs of enterprises of the Republic of Kazakhstan with high-quality work and services in the field of conformity assessment, meeting expectations by:
‒ forming an image as an objective, independent and competent body for certification of Halal products;
‒ achieving consumer confidence in Halal products, the certification of which was carried out by Halal CB;
‒ implementation of activities for certification of Halal products in accordance with the scope of accreditation.
The management of Halal CB undertakes to ensure:
‒ compliance of the management system with the requirements of regulatory documents, its continuous improvement, increasing suitability, adequacy and effectiveness;
‒ allocation of necessary resources, including resources for training, improvements and transformations;
‒ safe and healthy working conditions to prevent work-related injuries and deterioration of health, compliance with legislative and other requirements;
‒ creation of a favorable moral and psychological climate in the team.
The management of the Halal CB undertakes to organize and ensure work on the implementation of this Policy and responsibility for the effectiveness of the management system of the Halal product certification body.
