The event was organized with the aim of improving and increasing the level of professional competence of workers of various levels, industrial enterprises of Kazakhstan in accordance with the requirements of international standards.
The seminar was held in a distance format, where the participants listened to video lectures and communicated with lecturers in an online format.
This year, the seminar brought together more than 100 participants, including representatives of government agencies, conformity assessment bodies, universities, enterprises and organizations of mechanical engineering, metallurgy, energy, chemical and food products.
The participants of the seminar were greeted by the Deputy General Director of the Kazakhstan Institute of Standardization and Certification Yerkezhan Amirkhanova. During 3 days, the listeners got acquainted with the general regulatory framework in the field of the national standardization system, studied the basics of the law "On standardization", the use of standardization documents, the rules for the application of international, regional and foreign standards, the rules for developing a national standardization plan and national standards.
The novelty of this seminar is the study of the issue of the practical application of legislation on standardization and technical regulation in the implementation of public procurement. The participants considered in detail the issues of state control and supervision in the field of technical regulation, ensuring the uniformity of measurements, accreditation in the field of conformity assessment, both at the national level and within the EAEU.
One of the seminar lecturers was a foreign expert from Germany Gerd Slapke. He spoke about the practical application of legislation in the field of conformity assessment in the EU, as well as the adopted changes in the regulations and standards governing the issues of conformity assessment and accreditation in the EU on the example of Germany. The trainees received useful information on the issues of conformity assessment in the field of national legislation on the example of Germany and the legislative framework for market surveillance in the EU. The lecturer spoke about market surveillance in Germany and the important role of notified bodies in market surveillance.
As part of the training, the participants were presented for the first time a system of technical regulation and product access to the markets of priority countries for export: China, Iran, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates and Germany.
Also, the participants were explained the requirements of the legislation on standardization and technical regulation in the field of information technology and Halal products. The distance format made it possible to divide the listeners into platforms in two areas: Halal products and information technologies, where each seminar participant could choose an interesting direction for himself.
During the seminar, listeners actively asked questions arising in practical activities, to which the lecturers gave comprehensive answers. This training will allow in the future, in practice, to correctly and effectively achieve high results in improving the production of products and services.
