One of the main topics under consideration were the Agreements within the framework of the EAEU, the specifics of applying the technical regulations of the EEU to fire safety and firefighting facilities (TR EAEU 043/2017) and liquefied petroleum gases for use as fuel (EAEU TR 036/2016).
The lecturers explained in details the requirements for the processes of production, storage, shipment, sale, utilization and processing of hydrocarbon liquefied gases. They told about ensuring compliance of fire safety and fire extinguishing equipment with safety requirements and rules of their identification.
During the seminar, participants were provided with information about new Law of Republic of Kazakhstan “On Standardization”, as well as on amendments and additions to the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On ensuring the uniformity of measurements”. The heightened interest of the listeners was raised by questions of the practical application of international, regional standards, standards of foreign states, as well as the application of national standards in public procurement. The competence of the National Standardization Agency was also reviewed.
Attenders discussed the availability of formed Lists of measuring instruments which is subjected to verification and calibration, as a part of the amendments to the Law on ensuring the uniformity of measurements.
The seminar was held in the format of a dialogue, in which participants had the opportunity to get answers to their questions from lecturers-experts. As a result, the participants of the educational seminar raised their professional level in the field of technical regulation, standardization, metrology, management systems and received expert advice.
