Technical Secretariat

The Technical Secretariat is a structural subdivision of the republican state enterprise "Kazakhstan Institute of Standardization and Metrology" of the Committee for Technical Regulation and Metrology of the Ministry of Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The main functions of the Technical Secretariat are: 

 - verification of the correctness and validity of the registration of vehicle type approvals, chassis type approvals;

 - formation and maintenance of the register of issued vehicle type approvals, chassis type approvals, vehicle design safety certificate and notifications of cancellation of the document certifying compliance with TR CU 018/2011;

 - assignment of international identification codes to vehicle manufacturers;

 - interaction with the business community on issues of technical regulation of automotive products, etc.
