General classifier of goods, works and services

The National Standardization Body (KazStandart) organizes work on making changes and additions to the General Classifier of Goods, Works and Services (GCGWS) in accordance with the Rules for the development, coordination, examination, approval, registration, accounting, modification, revision, cancellation and implementation of national standards and classifiers, as well as the procedure for making changes and additions to the GCGWS.

GCGWS: purpose and classification structure

GCGWS provides a unified system for classifying goods, works, and services by organizing codes and names for classification groups of technical and economic information objects.

The classification structure of the GCGWS is based on four levels:

Category данный уровень определяет классификацию товаров по отраслевой принадлежности.
Group данный уровень определяет классификацию товаров по принципу обособленных кластеров в категории.
Class данный уровень определяет классификацию товаров по отличительным характеристикам в группе.
View данный уровень определяет классификацию ТРУ по общим физическим свойствам, целям и использованию в рамках класса.

GCGWS are used by government agencies, as well as individuals and legal entities in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan involved in the classification and coding of technical and economic information and/or using it in their activities.

The procedure for making changes and/or additions to the GCGWS

The procedure is regulated by Chapter 11 of the Rules and includes the following steps:

Примечание: подача заявления осуществляется только в случае отсутствия соответствующей классификационной структуры (категория, группа, класс, вид) товара в ОКТРУ.

Submission of the application

Заявление подается через информационную систему НКТ государственными органами, физическими и юридическими лицами, участвующими в классификации/кодировании либо использующими ОКТРУ в своей деятельности.

Consideration by the GCGWS Secretariat

Initial verification of the completeness and correctness of the materials on the application.

Public discussion (if there are no grounds for refusal)

Проект изменений размещается в НКТ для публичного обсуждения. По истечении 5 рабочих дней материалы направляются на рассмотрение Комиссии.

Consideration by the Commission

The Commission, taking into account the results of the discussion, reviews the draft within a period not exceeding 5 working days. The Commission is formed from representatives of industry authorized government agencies and the NCE "Atameken".

Revision with comments

In case of comments, the application is returned to the applicant indicating the reasons for revision.

Making changes to the GCGWS

При положительном решении изменения вносятся через информационную систему НКТ.
